Language is universal across Studio and Chat

When you change Output Language in any Studio customize dialog, that updates your default output language across all Studio generations and your Copilot Chat panel.
If you leave it on Auto, Memo detects the source language automatically.

Step-by-step

Quick generate

1. Open your deck.

2. Select the sources you want to use.

3. Go to Studio.

4. Click Podcast.

5. Open the finished podcast from Studio when it is ready.

Customize before generating

1. Click the pencil icon on Podcast.

2. Choose a podcast skill.

3. Choose the episode length:

   • Quick ~3 min

   • Standard ~7 min

   • Deep Dive ~15 min

4. Set the output language if needed.

5. Add optional instructions for the run.

6. Generate the podcast.

Important notes

• Podcast generation uses the sources currently selected in the deck.

• Episode lengths are approximate, not guaranteed exact durations.

• Completed podcasts are saved in Studio history and can be reopened from there.

• The podcast player can include a transcript alongside the audio output.

FAQ

Can I create multiple versions of the same topic?

Yes. You can change source selection, duration, language, or instructions and generate again.

Why don’t I see the same podcast style options another user has?

Podcast uses a skill-based system, so visible options can depend on which system or available skills are enabled for your account.

Does Podcast use the same language preference as Studio?

Yes. You can also set the language directly in the customize dialog for that run.
