Improve highlight contrast/visibility in Dark Theme

I want to be able to highlight text in notes in a way that the text remains visible when using dark theme. Currently, on both mobile and desktop, the highlight color and text color are too similar in dark mode, making the text unreadable. I would like customizable highlight colors or improved contrast for dark mode highlights.
