new update problems: Cannot flip in Track | can’t hide chatbox| citation error when there are multiple sources

Jason, I really appreciate your work. By the way, the track in the new update has a few issues:

  1. It no longer opens and flips to the source notes when the AI professor is teaching in the track, even though it did in the previous version.

  2. The chat space can’t be hidden, which means the source notes—even when opened manually—don’t have enough room to be clearly visible. The screen is now full of three windows from left to right: source notes, chat box, and the AI professor.

  3. When there is more than one source, the citation doesn’t work properly for sources other than the first one (for example, it fails to cite content in source 2 or 3 correctly).

    The new version feels quite similar to NotebookLM. To be honest, I’ve been considering switching to it as well, so the timing of your new release is great. I’ll give it a try.

    I also noticed that other users have reported similar issues. Please fix them when you can. I know you can do it. Keep up your passion.

    Just wanted to let you know that the citation error you mentioned should be fixed now.

    We're looking into the other issues you've raised regarding the Track feature and the chatbox visibility. I'll keep you posted with any updates.

    Hey everyone,

    Thanks for flagging these issues and for the detailed feedback. I appreciate you taking the time to write this up.

    I've just pushed a couple of fixes:

    1. The issue with the source notes not flipping in Track mode should now be resolved. You might need to regenerate the track for the fix to take effect.

    2. You can now hide the chatbox. Just click the three dots in the top right corner and select "Hide chat."

    For the citation error with multiple sources, would you mind sending me a screenshot?

      E.g. I got two sources - Chem-U5 and Chem-U3. As you can see, the sources can be opened when I click them in the source box. However, Chem-U3 cannot be shown or opened when I click the correpsonding citation in the flashcard, while only Chem-u5 can be opened.

      BTW, I found that the source page number shown after I click the citation of Chem-U3, soemthing like 120/34. Hope it helps you fix the issue.

      Besides, the chat model button seems disappear and change to language choice button. Please fix it too.

      It would be great if there is a guide introduce how the model different especially when using MEMO AI.

    When there is more than one source, the citation doesn’t work properly for sources other than the first one (for example, it fails to cite content in source 2 or 3 correctly).

    I come across this too. What I can do is separate the related sources into different decks. However, it is ridiculous as it loses the MEMO function of across reference among sources.

    Please help fix it, as citation function and across reference are the core functions of MEMO.

      Hey, thanks for flagging this. Could you share a screenshot of an example where it's failing to cite the other sources correctly? That would be a huge help for us to debug.
