Upload pre-recorded audio files for transcription

Users need the ability to upload pre-recorded audio files (e.g., lecture recordings) to Memo for transcription into notes, flashcards, and quizzes. Currently, the platform primarily supports live audio transcription, but users require flexibility to process existing audio content. Technical Details: This would involve developing an upload mechanism for audio files, integrating with the existing transcription service, and ensuring the output format (notes, flashcards, quizzes) is consistent with live transcription. Consider supported audio formats and file size limitations.

    You can upload an existing recording on the web through your notebook's Add source button. Supported formats are MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4 and WebM. Once the recording is Ready, select it in Sources before creating notes, flashcards or a practice test in Studio. The updated guide is here: https://www.memo.cards/help/sources/uploading-sources-to-memo. This is separate from recording live audio in your browser.
