Unable to switch model and wrong cauculation in energy usage

First, I cant find the switch model button.

Secondly, even though the chat box said I was using the memo-1 bot, the energy usage says I was using gpt-5.2 all the time! That wasted me a lot of energy.

Thirdly, I only created one practise test but the system said I created 5 of them and used a lot of energy.

Overall, even though the new release is good. There are still so many bugs.

    Hey everyone,

    Thanks for flagging this and sorry about the issues you've run into.

    Regarding the model picker, this was a temporary bug and I've just pushed a fix. It should be back now.

    I'm looking into the energy usage calculation issues now. Thanks for providing the screenshots, they're super helpful.

      me too. I remember I saw it in the first few days. It disappears now and counts all my chat as GPT 5.2

      Besides, it claims that “Learn Mode - Chat” is unlimited and undrain, why does it still count as energy usage? The chat room replied me that “Learn mode — Chat: an assisted learning flow where you can interact conversationally while studying (ask for hints, explanations, examples, “why is this answer correct?”, etc.). It’s meant for understanding and filling gaps.”. Actually what is it?

      Frankly, i start to get tired of trying the bugs……

        Hey Martin,

        Thanks for reaching out and for your patience. I know hitting these kinds of issues can be frustrating.

        Regarding the model picker, it might be hidden depending on your window size. If your window is narrowed, the model and language pickers move into the "plus" menu on the left. Could you check there and see if it appears?

        For the "Learn Mode - Chat" energy usage, that's a mistake on our part. It shouldn't be consuming energy, and we're working on a fix for that now. I appreciate you pointing it out. The description you got is correct – it's designed to be a conversational way to study your material without worrying about limits.

        We're pushing hard to iron out these bugs. Thanks again for flagging them.
